THE LOCATIONS
THE WALDORF ASTORIA
Our wedding ceremony, reception and dinner will take place at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria, located in the city centre of Amsterdam.
This historic canal palace is one of our favorite places in Amsterdam and is a truly romantic setting for our wedding. Depending on the weather, the ceremony may take place in the garden or in one of the stunning indoor salons.

LUMINAIR AT DOUBLETREE BY HILTON
Our evening celebration will take place at LuminAir, the rooftop bar and terrace of the DoubleTree.
Located on the top floor of the hotel, LuminAir offers panoramic views over Amsterdam and the IJ river — the perfect setting for cocktails, music and dancing as the city lights come alive.

LOGISTICS
The day starts at the Waldorf Astoria, where the wedding ceremony, reception and dinner will take place.
After dinner, we will transport all guests by private boat through the Amsterdam canals to the DoubleTree where we will continue at the rooftop bar LuminAir.
The boat transfer is arranged for all guests, so there is no need to organize your own transportation between these two venues. Simply relax and enjoy the ride.
How to get there:
If possible, use public transportation or taxi and go straight to the Waldorf Astoria.
Should you be travelling by car to Amsterdam, we advise you to park below the DoubleTree, where there is ample parking in the Parking Centrum Oosterdok. From there, take a taxi or public transport to the Waldorf Astoria for the day program. We advise you to book a parking ticket in advance via: www.parkingcentrumoosterdok.nl. This parking garage is located below the DoubleTree. Please note that central Amsterdam can be busy, especially during weekends. We recommend allowing extra travel time, including some extra time to get to the Waldorf Astoria.

THE PROGRAM
WELCOME RECEPTION
14:30
We will begin the afternoon with a warm welcome at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with refreshments and have time to settle in, mingle and enjoy the surroundings before the ceremony begins. Please arrive by 15:00 at the latest, so we can begin the ceremony promptly and ensure everyone is comfortably seated.
THE WEDDING CEREMONY
15:30
At 15:30, we will start the ceremony — the highlight of our day. Surrounded by family and friends, we will exchange our vows and officially begin our marriage.
If the weather allows, the ceremony will take place in the garden; otherwise, it will be held in one of the elegant indoor salons.
DRINKS & CANAPÉS
16:15
After the ceremony, we invite you to join us for a champagne reception and canapés. This will be a perfect moment to congratulate us (the newlyweds!), enjoy delicious bites and celebrate together while we take some photos.
DINER AT THE WALDORF ASTORIA
17:30
We will then move to the ballroom for a seated dinner. A carefully curated three-course menu will be served, accompanied by selected wines.
BOAT TRANSFER
20:00
After dinner, we will cruise from the Waldorf Astoria to DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, enjoying the city by night. It’s our way of sharing Amsterdam with you, using the world famous means of transportation through the canals. The boat has plenty of room for all guests — simply step aboard and enjoy the ride.
PARTY AT THE
LUMINAIR DOUBLETREE

The festivities continue at the DoubleTree, where the atmosphere shifts to vibrant celebration. Cocktails will be served, music will rise, and the dance floor will be open — and as everyone already knows, the bride and groom do not need much encouragement to dance. We look forward to celebrating with you in true style: energy high, shoes off (perhaps), and the dance floor full. Expect a lively evening filled with music, dancing and unforgettable moments as we celebrate long into the night.
END OF THE CELEBRATION

At 02:00, our rooftop celebration will come to a close. We hope you will have danced, laughed and celebrated with us until the very last song — creating memories that will stay with us long after the night ends.
